Racing Room

This room serves as a great back-up rain plan for indoor ceremonies as well as indoor cocktail hour. This room can also be rented on its own for a smaller occasion. Features include a built-in bar, gorgeous wood floor, grand chandeliers, fireplace, piano, floor to ceiling windows overlooking Big Darby Creek and the surrounding property.

This grand ballroom has newly refinished hardwood floors and floor-to-ceiling windows on both sides of the space providing you with views of both our main lawn and the beautiful waters of Big Darby Creek. Features include a fireplace and a stage for speakers, bands, or DJs making it the perfect location for any event.

Ladies, our bridal suite is amazing. Enjoy space for up to 20 of your favorite family members and gal pals. Our bridal suite has private restrooms, multiple vanity spaces for hair and makeup and a stunning 3 panel mirror with pedestal as you get ready to walk down the aisle.

Fellas can enjoy a room tailored to them! Enjoy our 75” flat screen TV, foosball table & plenty of space to kick back & have a few beers with your guys before guests arrive.

This outdoor space is wonderful for wedding ceremonies, cocktail hours, or receptions. Our outdoor space offers stunning views of the Big Darby Creek for guests to enjoy.  Equipped with bistro lighting, twinkle lights in the trees, a fire pit, lawn space for yard games, and walking paths, the spacious grounds are available for guests during the entire event.

“The Darby House is a beautiful venue with so many amenities that made for a wonderful wedding experience. Having the entire property to yourself gives your guests a private and spacious event space. We had our ceremony outdoors on the patio, dinner in the dining room, and cocktail hour and dancing in the racing room. This allowed us to enjoy the entire space, with a quiet space away from the dance floor for anyone who needed a break!”

Half Day

3:00 PM – 5:00 PM: Access to bridal party suites / access for vendor setup. Use this time to get dressed and ready on-site and maybe a first look!

5:00 PM – 5:30 PM: Guest Arrival

5:30 PM – 6:00 PM: Ceremony (pst— this is the perfect time for the sun setting on the creek!)

6:00 PM – 7:00 PM: Cocktail Hour

7:00 PM – 8:00 PM: Dinner

8:00 PM – 11:00 PM: Reception!

11:00 PM – 12:00 AM: Vendor tear down. Client must also take any belongings, décor etc. with them at the end of the evening.

All Day

12:00 PM – 5:00 PM: Access to bridal party suites / access for vendor setup. Also use this extra time to have hair & make-up done on-site and take photos ahead of time!
